Southern Poverty Law Center Union Endorses Hamas
SPLC now thinks hate groups are great. Especially if they’re killing lots of Jews.
The Southern Poverty Law Center claims to classify hate groups. Its employees who actually do the work unionized and they have a message.
Hate groups are great. Especially if they’re killing lots of Jews.
The SPLC Union, which last tweeted about May 1, declared that it “stands strongly in solidarity with the Palestinian people”, falsely claimed that “what we see in Gaza is the violent imperialist desecration of a people – the beginnings of a genocide” and accused Israel of apartheid and genocide.

There was obviously no mention of Hamas or the mass murder of Israelis.
Why did the SPLC Union, which is supposed to be about representing workers, jump on this bandwagon? The union’s leadership includes Sumayya Saleh, a senior attorney who formerly worked at the SPLC, and has the expected opinions on a Jewish State resisting Muslim invasion and colonialism. It’s not clear that she’s involved, but the SPLC union has no transparency so it’s hard to figure out who’s actually running anything. (This is not normal for a union.)
The unionization of journalists and nonprofit groups has done little for employees, but it’s been really helpful to leftists trying to consolidate and enforce political conformity.
Meanwhile, the unions for employees who decide who is a hate group have announced that they’re in throwing in with terrorists.
