Since the Valentine’s Day Parkland, Florida High School shooting, students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, where the shooting occurred, have come out to demand the government enact more gun control laws.  The lamestream enemedia capitalized rapidly on these “willing” students to parade in front of cameras and on television “news” shows to peddle a gun control narrative.  One student, in particular, has become the “face man” and “poster boy” for gun control – David Hogg, a senior at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

Forget the numerous conspiracy theories being postulated about Hogg.  Forget that his father is a former FBI agent who supposedly retired in 2014.  Focus instead on Hogg’s statements made to the media.

Before someone goes off and accuses this writer of “slamming” a survivor of a school shooting who happens to be a teenager, remember this:  when an individual enters the arena of politics to promote any agenda conflicting with the Constitution and infringing on God-given individual unalienable rights, that individual is fair game, regardless of age or circumstance.  Young David Hogg willingly entered the arena;  he’s fair game to challenge.

After President Trump tweeted, “Very sad that the FBI missed all of the many signals sent out by the Florida school shooter. This is not acceptable.  They are spending too much time trying to prove Russian collusion with the Trump campaign – there is no collusion. Get back to the basics and make us all proud!”;  David Hogg issued several statements to CNN.

As The Hill reported:

I think it’s disgusting, personally. My father’s a retired FBI agent and the FBI are some of the hardest working individuals I have ever seen in my life,” student David Hogg said during an interview on CNN.

“It’s wrong that the president is blaming them for this.”

Hogg added that Trump is in charge of the FBI.

“He can’t put that off on them. He is in charge of them and these people, what they love to do is push this off on bureaucracy and say it’s not them,” he said.

“He is in charge of the FBI … the executive branch is supposed to enforce laws and as such, President Trump is in charge of that and the FBI.”

First of all, the FBI has been totally politicized by the Obama administration as was evidenced by James Comey allowing Hillary Clinton a pass on her unsecured email server and mishandling of classified information.  Second, the FBI leadership has engaged in blatant bias by supporting Hillary Clinton and engaging in “fail safe” activities in case Trump won,  as evidenced by the exchange of texts between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, his mistress, to include Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.  Moreover, the FBI was too busy trying to “prove” the Clinton-Steele Dossier to bother with reports of a potential school shooting.

So, yes, the FBI did not follow the protocols it should have when it received tips about the alleged shooter, Nikolas Cruz, because the agency itself was too busy trying to play politics the upper echelon wanted played.  Yes, the FBI dropped the ball and deserves blame.

It’s not wrong for the President to call the agency out for their negligence and incompetence.  Part of the job of president is to make sure the laws are faithfully executed.  And, while the FBI is under the Department of Justice as its investigation arm and the DOJ is under the executive branch, the FBI is responsible to the Attorney General while Congress, through oversight committees in the House and Senate, oversees the budget, appropriations, programs and special investigations and the Director of National Intelligence oversees the FBI intelligence gathering operations.  So, to say the president is “in charge” of the FBI is a simplistic view.  And, how many agencies are still holding to the Obama era “instructions” despite instructions and policy changes from Trump, including the FBI?

And, exactly what “laws” was the president to enforce to prevent this?  It was the united States Congress, both chambers, that passed the Gun-Free Schools Zone Act of 1990, under President George HW Bush, that was held unconstitutional by the Supreme Court as it violated the Commerce Clause.  But, the Gun Free Schools Act in 1994 made it federal law for schools to adopt a gun free position in exchange for federal funds while encouraging States that received federal funds for education to adopt “zero tolerance” laws.  Also under President William Jefferson Clinton, Attorney General Janet Reno altered the language in a section of the law to claim that the firearm in question moved in or affected interstate commerce, inserted the change into the Omnibus Consolidated Appropriations Act of 1997 and Congress passed the bill.

It’s a child’s viewpoint being plastered across the media waves, but a viewpoint that serves the propaganda lamestream enemedia peddles any chance it gets – guns are bad and Trump should be ousted.

Hogg also stated on NBC’s Meet The Press, in response to Trump’s Saturday tweet, “You’re the president.  You’re supposed to bring this nation together, not divide us.  How dare you.  We’ve seen a government shutdown, we’ve seen tax reform, but nothing to save our children’s lives.  Are you kidding me? You think now is the time to focus on the past and not the future to prevent the deaths of thousands of other children? You sicken me.”

Surely, at age 17, David Hogg doesn’t have children.  Hogg evidently missed the eight years of Hussein Soetoro who did everything possible to divide this republic along every imaginable difference, and succeeded.  Where was his political activism against being divided then?  His Dad retired from the FBI in 2014 – plenty of time to advocate for gun control and speak out against a divisive president.  Hogg is also not familiar with the axiom, “if you fail to learn from the past, you are destined to repeat it.”  It’s important to see where the disconnect happened at the FBI in order to fix it to affect change for the future.

But, Hogg was not finished as Newsmax.com reported his appearance on ABC’s “This Week.”

In an interview on ABC News’ “This Week,” student David Hogg said “absolutely” mistakes were made ahead of the carnage that killed 17 people, including failure to follow-up tips on Cruz’s troubling behavior.

“Is anything going to change? I certainly hope so,” he said. “But this is something that we can’t go back and change now. We just have to look to the future and fix it.”

“You’ve had an entire generation of kids growing up around mass shootings and the fact that they are… starting to be able to vote explains how we’re going to have this change,” he said,, adding, “I think we’re definitely critical, especially on social media. And we love to complain about things, we absolutely do. And honestly, trying to fix this issue.”

But he called the National Rifle Association’s opposition to changes in the minimum age to purchase guns, universal background checks and a ban on semi-automatic weapons “disgusting.”

“They act like they don’t own these politicians. They still do,” he charged, adding: “The people that are joining the NRA, 99.9 percent of them are amazing people that just want to be safe, responsible gun owners.”

He said the NRA leadership has to be changed.

“In the same way that this is a democracy that’s currently broken, the NRA is an organization that is completely broken,” he said.

Now, Hogg admitted mistakes were made by law enforcement and stated: “we just have to look at the future and fix it.”  Great!  What are the suggestions to fix it?  Apparently, Hogg has none except for a gun ban and confiscation since he did nothing but bash additional unconstitutional proposed changes.

Before ranting on the NRA and trashing their compromises, Hogg appealed to the emotional side of the argument in typical anti-constitutionalist fashion.  “An entire generation of kids growing up around mass shootings” was how he described school-age children today.  It paints the picture that every child going to school and every school has mass shootings, which is not the case.  Most individuals when they speak of “growing up around” something, means it was their experience on almost a daily basis.  When one says, “I grew up around boats,” it generally means their family had a boat, they had a boat or they spent a lot of time on a boat.

He went on to say “they” are beginning to be able to participate in voting, which is how “they” are going to “have this changed.”  So, his generation is going to vote in politicians who will implement gun control, gun bans and gun confiscation.  To do that, his generation has to vote in Democrats and RINOs who love wealth redistribution, which means taking his hard-earned wages by theft to give to someone else.  There isn’t an individual in the united States who likes their money being stolen by the federal government to give to others who haven’t earned it.

Does Hogg know what a “semi-automatic weapon” is?   A semi-automatic weapon is a firearm that ejects one projectile with one squeeze of the trigger – in other words, every firearm an individual owns.  It will only eject the projectile, bullet, as fast as one can squeeze the trigger.  In fact, at one gun range visited, a sign is posted instructing users to only eject one projectile every 3-5 seconds.  Pardon the digression.

Hogg bashed the NRA for opposing gun control laws, changes in the universal background check, raising the minimum age to purchase a gun, and banning semi-automatic weapons;  but, he turned around and praised the NRA members who join stating, “99.9% of them are amazing people that just want to be safe, responsible gun owners.”  Well, which is it?  The NRA has compromised on the Second Amendment phrase of “shall not be infringed” and supported certain laws aimed at firearms.  And, if 99.9% of NRA are “amazing people wanting to be safe, responsible gun owners,” why the problem with the NRA?  Hogg has to decide whether the NRA is “disgusting” in their opposition to infringements on the Second Amendment or are “amazing people that only want to be safe, responsible gun owners.”

And, does anyone actually believe that the NRA “owns” politicians?  The entities that own the politicians are big corporations such as Monsanto, Big Pharma, and the like.  Those conglomerates have more money to throw around than the NRA.

Notice that Hogg never once mentioned inaction taken by a government composed of a majority of Democrats in the House and the Senate and a Democratic president.  Not once has Hogg mentioned those years under Obama where the majority votes could have seen massive gun control legislation and possibly confiscation come into law.  Nope.  He carefully avoided that to bash the current administration and Congress.  Why?

He then went on to call this republic a “broken democracy.”  Did he not learn in school the united States is not a democracy?  This republic is broken because it has moved to an oligarchy, a black-robed one where any judge or Supreme Court can issue a ruling and many consider it law.  He also described the NRA as an organization that is broken.  Interestingly, he never cited one example of the NRA nor the united States being broken.  Why?  For someone who exclaimed something as fact, he needs to back it up with evidence.

But, what one needs to take away from young David Hogg is he is being paraded out to the public as some kind of “expert” because he survived a mass shooting at his school.  He offers emotional arguments without facts to back his statements.  He is peddling the “our dead trumps your rights” mantra that was used after Sandy Hook.  And, he is a CHILD;  one, that he admits is critical and loves to complain on social media.

As most children are very impressionable and can be coerced to regurgitate a narrative espoused by those in authority, their opinion weighs less than a BB pellet.  Hogg even defended the school resource officer saying, “Who wants to go down the barrel of an AR-15, even with a Glock? And I know that’s what these police officers are supposed to do, but they’re people too.”  He even acknowledged that four other officers took no action as well.  Hogg excuses the people whose job it was to intercept the shooter because “they’re people too.”  Well, if they can’t do the job, they should find another job.   So, while Hogg rails at the “government” for not stopping this shooting, he excuses the four individuals, working for “government,” on the scene who could have made an impact.

If young David Hogg wants to continue in the public televised media spouting emotional arguments instead of facts and engage in political arguments, he needs to grow up.  First, no one WANTS to go up against another individual with a gun, no matter what type it is.  However, law enforcement officers are TRAINED to do so, are armed, and it is their job.  No one wants to go into a burning building either but thank goodness there are firemen who do so to save lives at risk to their own.  No one wants to confront an armed intruder in their home, but if they want a chance to save their family and themselves, they do.  Life is risky and without guarantees.

Second, young David Hogg needs to read, reread and read again The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution for the united States of America.  While he’s at it, he should read The Holy Bible to understand that God is the giver of rights, not government.  And, God-given rights were around long before the government.  He should take a look at 20^th century nations like Germany, the Soviet Union, China, Cambodia, Rwanda, Uganda and others where millions of innocent individuals were murdered at the hands of government because the populace was disarmed.  Young Hogg should look at the massive crimes being committed by illegal alien invaders in Sweden and Germany against an unarmed populace, while government turns a blind eye.  He needs to be faced with the realization that governments have indiscriminately killed children, babies even, who have done nothing but breathe, because some evil individual assumed power.

Only when this CHILD has a clear understanding of evil and evil intent, can he truly understand why the right to keep and bear arms is fundamental to a free people and to self-defense.  He needs to understand government cannot protect one from evil on a day-to-day, hour-to-hour basis, and come face to face with the realization that governments have contributed to more deaths than wars.  He should know the US government is responsible for protecting the borders from invasion and protecting from insurrection from within;  it is not designed to protect individuals or groups of individuals from all threats.  And, the American people are not immune from evil and evil intent when it comes to those in government.  Until he does his homework, gaining a full understanding of the entire picture and not just his little piece of it, then and only then, will he be able to formulate a coherent stance based on fact, not emotion.

Until he can do that, he should be treated as a CHILD, nothing more.
