Why Were There Trump-Era State Dept Emails On Anthony Weiner’s Laptop? (Updated)

Update: I need to make a correction on this piece of information. DRL Users is Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor at the State Department. The email in question is from a different FOIA request F-2017-05062. It has nothing to do with Abedin. You can find the email in the State Dept Virtual Reading Room. I apologize for the error.

In the huge document dump of 2,800 documents from Anthony Weiner’s computer, it seems that there are many that continued on into the Trump administration.  One has to ask, how are emails from the State Department during the Trump administration ending up on Anthony Weiner’s laptop?

Well, just to make the point, here’s a screenshot of one of the emails.  Look at the date.

There are several of these in the documents, which you can download and begin going through yourself by clicking here.

Now, this is just one example, but there are two possible explanations that I can think of at this moment.

First, consider that both Hillary Clinton and Huma Abedin continue to possess security clearance.  Why?  I have no idea.  In June of this year, I reported:

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and some of her staffers continue to possess security clearances to access sensitive government information, and apparently, those clearances may be pulled as the State Department has opened a formal inquiry into whether or not the former secretary mishandled classified information while she was in office.

Fox News reports:

The State Department has opened a formal inquiry into whether former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and her aides mishandled classified information while she was the nation’s top diplomat, Fox News has learned. Despite being under investigation, Clinton and her staffers still have security clearances to access sensitive government information.

The department’s investigation aims to determine whether Clinton and her closest aides violated government protocols by using her private server to receive, hold and transmit classified and top-secret government documents. The department declined to say when its inquiry began, but it follows the conclusion of the FBI’s probe into the matter, which did not result in any actions being taken against Clinton or any of her aides.

Depending on the outcome of the current State Department inquiry, Clinton and her aides could have their access to sensitive government documents terminated.

As far as I know, Clinton and her staffers continue to possess this clearance.  After making a splash this summer in the media about it, nothing else was done to my knowledge.  Even an internet search in writing this article provides no new information on the actions to revoke her clearance.

Neither Clinton nor her staffers are in our government.  They have no business with security clearance, and Anthony Weiner certainly has no business with government documents either.

Second, it could be that there are still Obama-era agents inside the State Department which continue to feed these documents to the outside to such people as Weiner, Abedin, Clinton, Obama and other enemies of the united States.

Personally, I’m inclined to believe both are possible at the same time.

Additionally, Weiner’s laptop was seized in November 2016.  So, one might ask just how these emails got on there in the first place?  NYPD?  FBI?  State Department?  Who get them on the laptop?

Hillary Clinton has not been indicted for her federal crimes, which are downright treasonous when you begin to look at what she did, and as such it emboldens her to commit more crimes against the people and sends a message to others in government that they will get a pass too.

We’ve seen lots of tension between Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and President Donald Trump, including their policy on North Korea.  Tillerson should be dismissed and be replaced.

Furthermore, the Tillerson State Department has had to be forced to do several things via lawsuits, including providing documents to Freedom of Information Act requests.

Additionally, the State Department has:

Apparently, the State Department was not disinfected enough when Trump took office and Tillerson “cleaned house” after his confirmation.

In either case, whoever funneled these emails to Anthony Weiner during the Trump presidency may continue to have access and needs to be placed under immediate arrest and criminally charged.
