In what the United States is calling “retaliatory airstrikes” on Iran-backed proxies in Syria, at least eight fighters have been killed. A war monitor said Monday that Washington carried out raids a day earlier in response to attacks on American forces in the same region.

As far as the expansion of war, it’s happening. It is going much slower than some expected, but it’s going to eventually spin out of control.

U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said in a statement Sunday that the U.S. carried out strikes against two Iran-linked sites in Syria in response to attacks on American troops, according to a report by CBS News.  “US military forces conducted precision strikes … on facilities in eastern Syria used by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Iran-affiliated groups in response to continued attacks against US personnel in Iraq and Syria,” Austin said in the statement. “The strikes were conducted against a training facility and a safe house near the cities of Albu Kamal and Mayadeen, respectively,” he added.

Austin told a news conference in Seoul, South Korea on Monday: “These attacks must stop, and if they don’t stop, then we won’t hesitate to do what’s necessary, again, to protect the troops” — meaning more attacks on Iran-backed groups, the Reuters news agency reported. Austin was in Seoul for annual security talks with South Korean military officials.

The U.S. claims that attacking is deterring attacks on American troops by forces in Iraq and Syria. The more likely outcome is going to be an expansion of the war as the tit-for-tat killing continues. The U.S. surely knows this, as it’s been involved in every single war it can since its founding. But the ruling classes don’t care what the slaves believe, as long as they continue to have power over people, they will use it.

The Military Industrial Complex Makes Hundreds Of Billions But Needs A Military Draft In The U.S.

The Military Industrial Complex certainly does not want this conflict to end, and Joe Biden has no intention of backing down.

So more warm bodies will be needed.

That is one of the reasons why there has been so much chatter about bringing back the draft here in the United States.

Recruitment has been way down in recent years, but our leaders desperately want to win this war with Russia and they also want to be ready to fight a war with China over Taiwan.

And so the stage is being set to draft young American boys and young American girls into military service. –The End of the American Dream

If the U.S. does reinstate the draft, we will have a choice. We’ll have to kill or be killed for the ruling class who thinks they own us, or we can just say no, stand together, and end this war. Without willing participants in the ruling classes’ game, they have no power and no control.
