What The Media & The Synagogue Shooter Have In Common

Robert Bowers, the Squirrel Hill synagogue shooter, and the mainstream media had one thing in common.

They hated the Jews in the Trump administration.

“Trump is surrounded by kikes,” he wrote.

Soon after the shootings, media lefties like Franklin Foer took up the shooter’s call.

“After the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, Gary Cohn couldn’t bring himself to resign from his job. After Squirrel Hill, Jared Kushner and Sheldon Adelson will likely stand their ground,” Foer wrote in a deranged rant published by The Atlantic. “Any strategy for enhancing the security of American Jewry should involve shunning Trump’s Jewish enablers. Their money should be refused, their presence in synagogues not welcome.”

Foer was echoing Bowers. There were too many Jews around Trump.

The media response to the shootings should serve as a reminder that the left and Neo-Nazis share a common hatred of Jews. The left expresses it in the usual disingenuous manner in which it treats minorities, appropriating their causes, promising to protect them, while violently persecuting them when they dissent from the left.

When it came to the Jews, Bowers and the media have a lot in common.
