Would-Be Assassin John Hinckley Jr. to Sell Out Arena: In Any Other Country He Would Have Been Executed

“This is not mercy; this is ignorance at every given level and a clear expose of what this injustice system is breeding in America.”

Presidential assassin Charles J Guiteau assassinated James Garfield on July 2, 1881 and was later hanged. Presidential assassin Leon Frank Czolgosz assassinated William McKinley on September 6, 1901 and was later electrocuted. Then, there is John Wilkes Booth, the man responsible for assassinating Abraham Lincoln on April 14, 1865 and was shot and killed by a Union soldier (Deuteronomy 21:23).

This was the justice that would soon follow those who were responsible for such crimes. As you can see, the crimes were not tolerated (Deuteronomy 19:19).

Yet, in modern America today, with its 64 billion dollar man made system of injustice (Mark 7:13), would-be assassins such as John Hinckley Jr. are released to entertain the ignorant in selling out arenas.

Fox News reported that John Hinckley Jr., the man who shot President Ronald Reagan in 1981, reportedly will perform a sold-out concert in New York City in July.

Hinckley, 67, sings and plays guitar and hopes to pursue a music career. He shares his music on a YouTube channel.

The would-be assassin was set to perform the sold-out show in Brooklyn at the Market Hotel, FOX5 New York reported, citing the venue’s website.

Hinckley had previously tweeted that he will take the stage at 7 p.m. on July 8.

ATTEMPTED REAGAN ASSASSING JOHN HINCKLEY THANKS SUPPORTERS AHEAD OF FULL RELEASE: ‘TIME TO ROCK AND ROLL’

While Hinckley appears set for what he has called the “John Hinckley Redemption Tour,” appearances in Connecticut and Chicago have been canceled.

U.S. District Court Judge Paul L. Friedman had freed Hinckley in September from all remaining oversight restrictions but said his order wouldn’t take effect until June 15.

Hinckley wrote a brief thank you Wednesday evening on Twitter.

“A big thank you to everyone who helped me get my unconditional release,” he wrote. “What a long strange trip it has been. Now it’s time to rock and roll.”

In Conclusion: Though some might agree with John’s version of what he calls redemption (Concerning his tour) and believe that somehow or another that this is mercy, I am here to tell you that this is not mercy. This is asking for more of the same (Isaiah 59:4), and you can rest assured that you will get more of it.

This does not prevent crimes from happening again (In teaching men the fear of God and the consequences; Deuteronomy 4:10). Instead, this breeds more crime by making a prey upon the innocent.

Mercy to a society and to a people is found in justice upon the heads of the guilty, not a free pass to encourage others to do what it is that the convicted criminal is guilty.

How ridiculous to overlook judgment because of kindness. Then love wounds itself by killing justice (Matthew 22:37).
