WSJ White House Reporter Rips Trump For Not Calling For Death Penalty For Vegas Shooter Who Was Already Dead!

Wall Street Journal reporter, Eli Stokols, blasted President Donald Trump after this week’s latest Islamic jihad attack in New York, but it was surreal when he spoke of Trump’s calling for the death penalty and Stokols said that Trump didn’t do such a thing when alleged Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock shot hundreds of people.

Seriously, you can’t make this stuff up!

Anyone paying attention would know that Paddock was already dead!  There’s no need to be calling for the death penalty.

However, Stokols appeared on MSLSD (H/T Jerry Johnson) and was asked about the latest jihad attack in New York.

WSJ White House Reporter Hits Trump For Not Calling For Execution Of Already-Dead Las Vegas ShooterSeriously, you can't make this stuff up!

He took the time to weave the story of the Vegas shooting in, alleging that Trump is some sort of racist for calling for the death penalty when Muslims are involved, as if Islam is about race.  Stokols has the same earplugs in that Geraldo Rivera does when it comes to Islam and race.  It’s an ideology!

“The unifying thread is the sort of broader politics of Donald Trump, the ethnocentric nationalism,” Stokols told MSNBC.  “He did not react this way when a white person shot dozens of people in Las Vegas. He did not come and say, ‘Well, we need to do an immediate policy change. We need to give this guy the death penalty.’”

Well, yeah, like I said, he was already dead.

However, notice that neither the host nor the two other people present had the wherewithal to point out that Paddock was dead.  In fact, the other man on the panel said he agreed with Stokols!

No wonder MSNBC’s ratings are literally in the toilet.

The whole talk came because of Trump’s call for the death penalty of Sayfullo Saipov, the Islamist who mowed down a number of Americans in Manhattan with a rental truck while shouting “Allahu Akbar” and then bragged about it in the hospital.

Trump has said that he would consider putting Saipov in Gitmo, but I think that is a really bad idea.  Let him give life for life, as a just punishment.  Don’t punish the American people, including the victims’ families by taxing them to clothe, feed and house him for the rest of his life.

“NYC terrorist was happy as he asked to hang ISIS flag in his hospital room. He killed 8 people, badly injured 12. SHOULD GET DEATH PENALTY!” Trump tweeted.

Unlike these people and New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, Trump understands there is a real threat here.  He also does shoot from the hip regarding the death penalty, but he doesn’t reserve that just for Islamic jihadists.

Does anyone remember these?

The above tweets were regarding James Holmes, a white boy, who allegedly converted to Islam later while in prison.

Or what about this tweet regarding the Boston bomber?  Of course, he was a Muslim, but he remains consistent that when someone commits murder, they should pay with their life.

The same was true with the Muslim who beheaded a co-worker in Oklahoma.

Or how about this one about white boy Bowe Bergdahl, a deserter and traitor?

And let’s not leave out blacks either.  In 2015, Trump tweeted out that a few young black men should get the death penalty for murdering two cops in Mississippi.

Trump has remained consistent on the death penalty regardless of ethnicity or ideology when it comes to murder and he’s exactly right that it is a just form of punishment.

Interestingly enough, GQ magazine did the same thing as Stokols, noting that Trump didn’t call for the death penalty for a man who was already dead.

However, they did retract the article and wrote, “An earlier version of this article used a headline noting that Trump had publicly called for the death penalty in the New York attack, but not the Las Vegas shooting in particular. That discrepancy is probably related to the fact that the Las Vegas shooter is dead. We regret the error.

Wait, probably?  No, that is the obvious reason anyone living in the real world would assume GQ.  The discrepancy is because the people at GQ, and people like Stokols hate Trump.  That’s all.
