After ‘Palestinian’ Refugee Plotted Houston Massacre, Rep. Zinke Proposes Travel Ban

“This is the most anti-Hamas immigration legislation I have seen”

CNN’s headline is very discreet.

Jordanian arrested in Houston made statements supporting killing individuals of particular faiths, judge’s order says – CNN

“Particular faiths”. Not the Amish again.

A Jordanian man arrested last month in Houston on a federal firearm possession charge had spoken of “martyrdom,” a federal judge said in a court order, and was “plotting to attack a Jewish gathering,” a law enforcement source told CNN.

Does “Jordanian arrested in Houston made statements supporting killing individuals of particular faiths” really make for a better headline than “Palestinian Refugee plotted to kill Houston Jews”? But you gotta bury the lede when it comes to Islamic terrorism.

FBI Director Wray already told Congress, “We have seen that with an individual we arrested last week in Houston had studied how to build bombs and posted online about his support for killing Jews.”

Sohaib Abuayyash, a 20-year-old who applied for asylum after his U.S. visa expired, was “plotting to attack a Jewish gathering” in Houston, according to a law enforcement source quoted in a Thursday CNN report. The FBI arrested Abuayyash last month on firearm possession charges.

U.S. Magistrate judge Christina A. Bryan, who on Oct. 24 issued an order of detention in Abuayyash’s case, said that Abuayyash had “communications with another individual about martyrdom” while he talked about targeting a Jewish gathering, CNN reported.

Bryan said that Abuayyash also watched “lessons on how to construct bombs or explosive devices.”

Sohaib Abuayyash, who claimed to be a ‘Palestinian’ also wanted to go fight in Gaza at which point he would have immediately become an innocent civilian.

But what if we didn’t let these ‘refugees’ in the country to begin with?

Rep. Ryan Zinke has a highly reasonable proposal.

Western Montana Congressman Ryan Zinke introduced the Safeguarding Americans from Extremism (SAFE) Act to prevent Palestinian terrorists from abusing the United States’ legal immigration system by requiring the Department of Homeland Security to implement a pause on all visas, refugee status and granting of asylum for individuals holding a passport issued by the Palestinian Authority (PA). It also revokes any entrance of covered aliens who were granted visas or entered the United States on or after October 1, 2023.

“This legislation keeps America safe. I don’t trust the Biden Administration any more than I do the Palestinian Authority to screen who is allowed to come into the United States,” Zinke said. “This is the most anti-Hamas immigration legislation I have seen and it’s well deserved. Given the circumstances, the threats to our immigration system and the history of terrorists abusing refugee, asylum and visa processes all over the world, the requirements in this bill are necessary to keep Americans safe. This bill does exactly that.”

Render Palestinian Authority passport holders (covered aliens) inadmissible to the U.S.

Bar DHS Sec from granting immigrant/non-immigrant visas to covered aliens.

Revoke visas issued to covered aliens on or after October 1.

Bar DHS Secretary from granting covered aliens Temporary Protected Status.

Bar DHS Secretary from granting future asylum or refugee status to covered aliens.

Revoke Refugee or Asylum status for covered aliens if requested on or after October 1.

Bar DHS Sec from paroling a covered alien.

Revoke parole of covered aliens if paroled on or after October 1.

Co-sponsors include Rep. Andy Harris (R-MD), Rep. Aaron Bean (R-FL), Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC), Rep. Scott DesJarlais (R-TN), Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA), Ronny Jackson (R-TX), Bill Posey (R-FL), Barry Moore (R-AL), Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and Andy Biggs (R-AZ)

I know it’s crazy to think that we should stop importing terrorists to commit the domestic terror acts Americans won’t commit, but do we really want an Oct 7 in Michigan or Virginia? Because that’s what we’re on track for.
