David Hogg Targets Laura Ingraham – Alinsky-Style

In case you haven’t heard, or if you have, David Hogg has targeted Laura Ingraham of Fox News, calling for the boycott of advertisers on her show, Ingraham Angle, because of a tweet she issued regarding his rejection from four California universities while supposedly having a 4.2 GPA.  According to Breitbart.com, the tweet Ingraham issued is as follows:

David Hogg Rejected By Four Colleges To Which He Applied and whines about it. (Dinged by UCLA with a 4.1 GPA…totally predictable given acceptance rates.) https://t.co/wflA4hWHXY

The man-child, Hogg, tweeted these rejections himself on his Twitter feed, followed by multiple tweets of indulging in muffins because of the disappointment.  However, an exhaustive search of the original tweet by Hogg is nowhere to be found on his own Twitter page.  However, TMZ interviewed David Hogg, posted on 3/27/2018, where it was reported he was rejected by  UCLA, UCSD,  UCSB, and UC Irvine.

According to Ryan Saavedra at The Daily Wire, Ingraham was not engaging in an attack on Hogg, merely pointing out that he was complaining based on his activism after the Parkland shooting.  But, Hogg, taking the tweet as an insult, after he, himself, lamented over it on his own twitter page, gorged himself on muffins, and complained on Twitter, launched a call to boycott advertisers on Ingraham’s Fox News show.

Ingraham apologized to Hogg, stating she was apologizing in the “spirit of Holy week”;  but the angry man-child bully refused to accept her apology, issuing this tweet.

I 100% agree an apology in an effort just to save your advertisers is not enough. I will only accept your apology only if you denounce the way your network has treated my friends and I️ in this fight. It’s time to love thy neighbor, not mudsling at children. https://t.co/H0yWs4zMGk

Hogg’s sister, Lauren, added her “two cents” worth on Twitter against Ingraham as well.

*Waits till we boycott her advertisers to apologize* wow.

Hey @IngrahamAngle please just be a real journalist. Focus on the important stories and use your platform to help people not hurt them. #neveragain#ShutUpAndBeObjective #MarchForOurLives https://t.co/wZRBlHk4XS

So, without any evidence, Hogg is accusing Ingraham of apologizing to save advertisers.  The remedy Hogg seeks calls for Ingraham to “denounce the way your network has treated my friends and I in this fight.”  He then wrote, “It’s time to love thy neighbor, not mudsling children.”

Maybe David Hogg should take his own advice.

In this process of lobbying against the right of the people to keep and bear arms, Hogg has slandered Alex Jones of Infowars, called mothers and father of children “old a** parents,” insinuated parents are stupid and dumb if they cannot text or send an iMessage, maligned and slandered politicians (going beyond criticism), accused the NRA of “killing children,” maligned and slandered Dana Loesch, spokeswoman for the NRA, accused gun owners of “murdering children,” and laced his angry, childish tirade tantrums with “fruity” language that would have most mothers washing their child’s mouth out with soap.  The disrespect Hogg and his sister display is not at all shocking considering their parents, along with the media, has indulged their deplorable behavior.  The hashtag, #shutupandbeojbective, is a bit ironic when these two have been anything but objective.

It’s a shame their parents didn’t teach them the “Golden Rule” taken from the Bible.

Not surprisingly, advertisers on Ingraham’s show have been pulling out left and right:  Hulu, Nutrish, Nestle, TripAdvisor, Expedia, and Wayfair.  Large corporations, who rely on the money spent at their companies from adults, cow to disorderly, disrespectful, foul-mouthed teens, who cannot spend one dime of money without their parents giving it to them – but not really.  These corporations are kowtowing to the large Soros anti-constitutional organizations operating behind the shield of these children.

TripAdvisor had this to say, according to CNBC:  “In our view, these statements focused on a high school student, cross the line of decency. As such, we have made a decision to stop advertising on that program.”

What about the slanderous statements made by Hogg against innocent citizens, TripAdvisor?  What about the use of foul language, crossing the line of decency?  How exactly do you define “decency”, TripAdvisor?

Wayfair’s Head of Public Relations, Jane Carpenter, issued this statement to CNBC, “As a company, we support open dialogue and debate on issues. However, the decision of an adult to personally criticize a high school student who has lost his classmates in an unspeakable tragedy is not consistent with our values.”

What was Ingraham criticizing, Wayfair?  It was a retweet of a TMZ article where Hogg himself stated he was rejected and a statement referencing the universities’ acceptance rates.  In fact, he did whine about it as his Twitter page indicates with the indulgence in muffins and his decrying disappointment wondering what he will eat next.

Here’s a big piece of advice;  If you don’t want people to know about bad things that happen to you or your reaction, DON’T post on social media.  By posting on social media, with the “celebrity” Hogg himself initiated, embraced and accelerated, then sharing the news with TMZ, he opened himself to “criticism” or others sharing the article and his tweets on social media.

If all of this isn’t enough, Media Matters mogul, Angelo Carusone, added his voice to the circus.

“[T]he real question from a business perspective is: why are [advertisers] there in the first place? Fox News is reckless propaganda machine. It’s bad for business. This has been well established by now. Fox News hasn’t changed and has shown no signs of changing despite declining ad revenue due to these controversies. If I was running some of these big companies at issue right now, I would fire my media buyer for getting me into this Fox News mess in the first place.”

“You can expect more advertisers to leave … Fox News is reckless propaganda machine. It’s bad for business.” pic.twitter.com/lJohvDnTEM

It’s a bit of deflection calling Fox News a “propaganda machine” from Media Matters, but not surprising.  In all fairness, Fox News cannot be called a news organization for “conservatives” or constitutionalists since it doesn’t always support “conservative” or constitutional viewpoints.  But, Fox News is not the “propaganda machine” that is CNN, the other alphabet organizations, or Media Matters.

These kids, children, young adults – however you want to classify them – are being used by anti-constitutional organizations to lobby government into infringing upon the people’s God-given individual unalienable rights.  Remember, regardless of any government “law” infringing upon those rights, those rights remain, as they are inherent.  According to an article at DCClothesline, the permit for the Washington, DC march, these children supposedly organized, was requested months in advance.  However, they never obtained a permit.

Adults pushing an agenda against innocent citizens is one thing;  using children to shield yourself against backlash and criticism from innocent citizens opposing your agenda is absolutely deplorable.  The adults and organizations behind these children use them as a front under the cover of “criticizing children expressing their freedom of speech is worse than murder” while allowing these “children” to slander, malign and disrespect adults while using foul language is deemed acceptable – the ends justify the means.  Unfortunately, these “children” have parents who are complicit in these organizations, news media **ores, and criminals, using their children, receiving fame, notoriety or money, or a combination of those – nothing else can explain a parent willingly allowing their child to be used and abused.  Moreover, these parents are complicit in their “children” being “coached” and encouraged in their abuse of innocent citizens, brazen foul-mouthed tirades, and destruction of individuals’ livelihood.  And yes, the parents deserve plenty of blame here.

Children are not above reproach, being disciplined for bad behavior, and having litigation filed against them, along with their parents, for slander.  It is because these individuals are children that adults have refrained from taking any legal action against them or their parents.  However, if it had been another adult engaging in these actions, the lawsuits would be flying.  That is how these organizations have used these children and their parents.

Parents, charged with educating and protecting their children, in this case, have failed miserably.  Not only should the children be called out and disputed because of their verbal attacks against innocent citizens, the parents should be called out for their miserable failure to do their job as God has commanded.  Interestingly, these parents have been eerily silent.  Hogg’s mother reported “death threats” that were not real death threats to the police, but not once has any parent come to the defense of their child when a perceived criticism has been made.  Wonder why?
