Investigative Journalist Laura Loomer Handcuffs Herself To Twitter Office To Expose Censorship (Video)
Investigative journalist Laura Loomer handcuffed herself to the office doors of Twitter in New York on Thursday to decry the blatant censorship by the social media outlet.
In a video posted online that runs almost 2 hours, Loomer and several of her friends can be seen attaching a sign with enlarged tweets over the door as she handcuffs herself to the door.
The sign enlarged and compared two tweets: One by Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan and the other by Loomer, for which she received a permanent ban.

The Louis Farrakhan tweet stated, “I’m not anti-Semite, I’m anti-termite,” which was a reference to a comment he made earlier this year with reference to Jews.
Of course, Loomer, who is a Jewish girl, took issue with that, but what exactly did Loomer post that got her banned?
She simply posted the truth about incoming Minnesota congresswoman Ilhan Omar.
In the tweet in question, Loomer called Omar “anti Jewish” and a promoter of Sharia law, and said she is a member of a religion in which “homosexuals are oppressed” and “women are abused” and “forced to wear the hijab.”
This is the tweet that Loomer blew up and put on Twitter's building.
She wrote underneath it: "NOT BANNED FOR HATE SPEECH."https://t.co/vK5O0fLQ0y

You can see that it appears that someone inside Twitter’s office not only attempts to knock over the ladder holding a man who is attempting to simply stick the sign over Loomer, but comes out and steals their property, a simple handheld sign that was also to be used to protest.
Loomer uses a small bullhorn to make her protest.
While a crowd gathered, some mocked her while others praised her courage.
Then it even went into social media with Ben Shapiro tweeting somewhat in Loomer’s favor.
Three things can be true at once:
1. Loomer shouldn't have been banned from Twitter.
2. Twitter is obviously looking to purge people with unpalatable political beliefs.
3. Wearing a yellow star to protest a Twitter ban is RIDICULOUS.— Ben Shapiro (@benshapiro) November 29, 2018
Frankly, I don’t find it ridiculous. The point is a silencing, then a dehumanizing. Twitter took care of the first, Farrakhan took care of the second.
Author Michelle Malkin also gave praise for Loomer’s actions and said that those mocking her will never understand.
All those who stood up for @JesseKellyDC who are now mocking Laura Loomer for protesting her Twitter ban because she dared to criticize Sharia & Ihlan Omar: You don't get it. You never will.

Loomer’s actions were the number one trending news story on Thursday afternoon on Twitter.
Sure, there’s no doubt there is a bit of publicity stunting going on, I have no doubt, but it’s brilliant to use it to promote the message about what is actually going on.
Unlike the mob protests that come from the criminal side of the aisle, no threats were issued, no one’s front door was kicked in, no one’s address was posted online, no mobs gathered to push those they disagreed with politically out of the public square. It was just a girl with a bullhorn.
Seems that Twitter is just as scared to get Loomered as Minnesota attorney general-elect Keith Ellison, don’t you think?
Loomer has also filed a lawsuit for discrimination against Twitter after being banned.
She posted on Wednesday:
Today, Larry Klayman, former federal prosecutor and founder of both Judicial Watch and Freedom Watch, amended the antitrust class action complaint he filed for Freedom Watch against leftist social media companies Google, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Apple and Instagram under Sections 1 and 2 of the Sherman Antitrust Act for agreeing among themselves and acting as a monopoly to restrain trade and discriminate against conservatives.
Klayman had this to say on filing the Amended Complaint:
“Added as a lead plaintiff today was Laura Loomer, a courageous Jewish female journalist who was just banned from Twitter and Facebook for criticizing a Muslim congresswoman. The retaliation by Twitter and Facebook, as set forth in the Amended Complaint, was not only a violation of our antitrust laws and other laws, but wreaked of anti-Semitism against a Jewish conservative woman. Ironically, the CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, is a card carrying member of the Jewish Left, and as a self-hating Jew would sell out his own people for a buck.
Indeed years ago I sued Zuckerberg and Facebook for allowing the posting on Facebook of a Third Intifada page advocating death to Jews by radical Palestinians. Zuckerberg had even initially refused to take the posting down at the urging of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu. He later relented when the heat got too hot in the “Jewish kitchen.” Like Ms. Loomer, I am of Jewish origin and a Zionist, and I find Zuckerberg and his accomplices at the other social media companies, including Jack Dorsey of Twitter, not only illegal, but despicable. Indeed, the Left in this country has become decidedly anti-Semitic, and they must pay a legal price for this.
As a result I have recently founded the Coalition of the Jewish Right, which represents the great majority of Jews in this country and in Israel.”
In response to the complaint, Loomer added:
“I found it necessary to join this lawsuit to end the discrimination by big tech social media companies against Conservatives like myself.”
The Amended Complaint can be viewed here, as well as at www.freedomwatchusa.org.
