Judge to Media: “What’s Wrong with America First?”
Judge Jeanine Pirro has been a vocal supporter of GOP frontrunner Donald Trump for quite some time, so it wasn’t completely surprising when she defended him on her show Saturday night. However, the questions she asked were indeed intriguing, focusing on recent attacks by the media, the Democrats, and even some in the GOP Judge Jeanine wondered if anyone could explain to her why the idea of Americans putting “America first” had become so controversial?
“What’s wrong with ‘America First’? To me, ‘America First’ is a breath of fresh air and exactly what this country needs. Don’t these people live here?
Interestingly, she also echoed a sentiment that was quite unpopular when Ron Paul was running for President, but has become more acceptable among Donald Trump’s supporters. While Dr. Paul was called an “isolationist” and vilified for arguing that America should be less involved in the politics of other nations, and that we should stop “nation-building” altogether, Mr. Trump has been praised for his more “hands-off” foreign policy.
“Do any of you like sending your children to war in foreign countries to impose our way of life on them, when they don’t want our way of life? When they resent it, and want to kill us for it?”
Pirro again pushed back against the “isolationist” label while arguing that the Obama/Clinton foreign policy has been a disaster, and Mr. Trump is the best bet to take us down a different road foreign policy-wise.

“Stop telling us who to believe, what to believe and what’s best for us. We’re voting in record numbers for the man who is the biggest vote-getter in American primary history. Since you screwed it up, can’t figure it out, and have made a laughing stock of this great nation, just shut up and go away. We’ll take it from here.”
It’s an interesting argument, and honestly, it’s one of the places I agree most closely with what Mr. Trump has said. I do find it ironic that many of the same people supporting Mr. Trump’s foreign policy ideas were demonizing Ron Paul’s son, Rand Paul, for similar policies just a few months ago. My what a difference a few months makes…
