Obama’s Former Pastor Jeremiah Wright Makes This Ridiculous Statement about Jesus
The media has long ignored the curious connection between President Barack Obama and the train of disturbed individuals that he has been accustomed to associate with. We were once again reminded of the gross company Obama has kept this past weekend when Obama’s former spiritual mentor, Jeremiah Wright, spoke at a rally in Chicago in support of the Palestinian terrorists against the state of Israel. During his short remarks he said a stunning number of very wrong things…
“We are grateful to God to be able to be here and to speak a word on behalf of Palestinian justice…
The same issue is being fought today and has been fought since 1948, and historians are carried back to the 19th century…when the original people, the Palestinians – and Please remember, Jesus was a Palestinian, the Palestinian people have had the Europeans come and take their country, ignoring United Nations resolutions, after resolution, after resolution, over 40 resolutions, and illegally occupied territories, as they take the people whose [country] it is, and make it theirs because their God told them that they could have somebody else’s country
The youth in Ferguson and the youth in Palestine have united together to remind us that the dots need to be connected and what Dr. King said, injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere, has implications for us as we stand beside our Palestinian brothers and sisters, who have been done one of the most egregious injustices in the 20th and 21st centuries.
Boycott, divestment, and sanction is how we fought non-violently to bring an end to apartheid in South Africa. Apartheid is going on in Palestine as we sit here. There’s an apartheid wall being built, twice the size of the Berlin Wall in height, keeping Palestinians off of illegally occupied territories, where the Europeans have claimed that land as their own…
Palestinians are saying ‘Palestinian lives matter.’ We stand with you, we support you, we say God bless you.”
There is too much wrong here to correct it all, but let me just hit a couple of points. First, Jesus was NOT Palestinian. There was no such thing as a Palestinian people until the Europeans (whom Wright trashes) invented them after WWI. Jesus was a Jewish man born in Judea and the Jews of Israel have laid claim to the land that Israel inhabits for some 4000 of the last 4500 years. Meanwhile, before WWI, the “Palestinian” people lived throughout the region in territory that is now in Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Israel. However, it’s only Israel who is being forced to give up its own territory to make a home for the Palestinians.
Secondly, I’m not sure what he’s talking about when it comes to “ignoring” UN resolutions because it was the United Nations that carved out this “safe” place for Israel after the desolation of WWII and the Jewish holocaust. Also, Wright blames Europe for “taking” this land from its rightful inhabitants but the truth is that the Europeans won the land after the collapse of the Ottoman Empire in WWI. If they didn’t want to lose the territory, perhaps the Ottoman Empire shouldn’t have declared war on the Allies? Further, the Ottoman Empire had themselves stolen this land from other rulers years before… it’s beyond hypocritical to attack someone for taking land that you had previously taken in the same manner.

Lastly, Wright performs a favorite liberal logical gymnastic routine when he claims that the situation between Israel and the Palestinians is the same as apartheid in South Africa. It is not. In Israel, every citizen has the same rights and is treated the same under the law – whether Jew, Christian, Muslim or atheist, no matter their race or ethnicity, gay or straight, liberal or conservative. The government of Israel even tried to appease the Palestinian terrorists by giving them their own land and their own government… however; the Palestinian leadership chose to continue pursuing the destruction of Israel as a philosophy and does nothing to curb terrorism against Israel from its own people.
In the Israeli-Palestinian struggle, Israel is the good guy and the Palestinian terrorists are most certainly the bad guys.
Also, Jeremiah Wright is a disgusting tool for evil… but you already knew that.
