Report: Wikileaks’ Julian Assange To Be Turned Over To UK By Ecuador In “Coming Weeks Or Days”
According to a report by RT editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan, Wikileaks founder Julian Assange will be turned over by the government of Ecuador to the United Kingdom as after the 2016 election. Assange became somewhat of a thorn in the side of the current administration and President Donald Trump, who supported Assange during the election, but has put in place people who view Assange as an enemy and criminal rather than someone who disseminated the truth about the violations of law and our Constitution by the federal government and elected representatives, including the usurper-in-chief, Barack Hussein Obama Soetoro Sobarkah.
On Thursday, Wikileaks retweeted Simonyan’s tweet, which was in Russian, that read, “My sources tell me that @JulianAssange will be handed over to the #UK in the next weeks or days. Like never before I wish that my sources are wrong’.”

Simonyan’s message comes, as speculations Ecuador is in talks with the UK over the future of Assange are back again in British press. Earlier this week, the Times reported Britain is locked in top-tier discussions with the Ecuadorians in a bid to remove Assange from their London embassy.
The above report that UK & Ecuador are preparing to turn Assange over to UK appears to be true. Big question is whether the US will indict him & seek his extradition, the way Sessions & Pompeo vowed they would. Can't wait to see how many fake press freedom defenders support that.

Sir Alan Duncan, the Foreign Office minister, is said to be spearheading the diplomatic effort. Sources close to Assange said he himself was not aware of the talks but believed that America was putting “significant pressure” on Ecuador, including threatening to block a loan from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) if he continues to stay at the embassy.
The Times report comes just weeks before a visit to the UK by the newly-elected Ecuadorian president Lenin Moreno, who has labeled Assange a “hacker”, an “inherited problem” and a “stone in the shoe.”
There have been other worrying signs indicating Assange is steadily becoming a troublemaker for Ecuador. In late March this year, the Ecuadorian government has suspended Assange’s communication privileges with the outside world, cutting off his Internet connection at the embassy.
President Trump had previously supported the work of Assange, but as soon as he took office, he took the mask off.
As former Texas congressman, Ron Paul wrote:
“I love Wikileaks,” candidate Donald Trump said on October 10th on the campaign trail. He praised the organization for reporting on the darker side of the Hillary Clinton campaign. It was information likely leaked by a whistleblower from within the Clinton campaign to Wikileaks.
Back then he praised Wikileaks for promoting transparency, but candidate Trump looks less like President Trump every day. The candidate praised whistleblowers and Wikileaks often on the campaign trail. In fact, candidate Trump loved Wikileaks so much he mentioned the organization more than 140 times in the final month of the campaign alone! Now, as President, it seems Trump wants Wikileaks founder Julian Assange sent to prison.
Last week CNN reported, citing anonymous “intelligence community” sources, that the Trump Administration’s Justice Department was seeking the arrest of Assange and had found a way to charge the Wikileaks founder for publishing classified information without charging other media outlets such as the New York Times and Washington Post for publishing the same information.
It might have been tempting to write off the CNN report as “fake news,” as is much of their reporting, but for the fact President Trump said in an interview on Friday that issuing an arrest warrant for Julian Assange would be, “OK with me.”
There is a word for this sudden about-face on Wikileaks and the transparency it provides us into the operations of the prominent and powerful: hypocrisy.
The Trump Administration’s declaration of war on whistleblowers and Wikileaks is one of the greatest disappointments in these first 100 days. Donald Trump rode into the White House with promises that he would “drain the swamp,” meaning that he would overturn the apple carts of Washington’s vested interests. By unleashing those same vested interests on those who hold them in check – the whistleblowers and those who publish their revelations – he has turned his back on those who elected him.
Julian Assange, along with the whistleblowers who reveal to us the evil that is being done in our name, are heroes. They deserve our respect and admiration, not a prison cell.
While the Trump administration set its sights on Assange, probably because he exposed Trump’s subservience to the Saudis among other things, it failed to do what it promised and investigate crooked Hillary. Instead, just like Trump did an about-face on Assange, he did an about-face on Clinton, saying she deserved our appreciation for her public service and that she and Bill were good people.
Assange even warned Trump that the Deep State was looking to oust him and install Vice President Mike Pence in his place. And what does he get for that? Vilification. Even Trump’s own CIA Director couldn’t get it right when it came to Assange, so he had to correct him, demonstrating the administration was not attacking Assange, but freedom of the press.
Tyler Durden points out that this might just be a trade-off for the US’ import of Ecuador’s crude oil recently. He writes:
… as we pointed out earlier this week, US imported a record amount of crude from Ecuador last week (a massive unprecedented surge all of a sudden), which begs the question…was there a payoff?
Makes perfect sense to me, and no doubt the UK will immediately extradite Assange to the US where he will be maligned and made out to be the boogeyman, Obama-style, by the current administration, and you know what? All those people who cheered the revelations of Wikileaks and Assange prior to the election will suddenly be swayed by the propaganda that is currently in full swing so that they will begin to sound like these criminals…
