Trump Taps SC Governor Nikki Haley as United Nations Ambassador
For most Americans, there is this feeling that we no longer need to take part in the United Nations. The organization has sought to destroy the sovereignty of our country, as well as other countries. Many believe the organization is one that pushes a globalist agenda.
Many, at least those I have spoken with, thought that there would be a move away from the UN. They believed that Donald Trump would move to dislodge us from the organization much like Brexit did Britain from the EU. However, this looks not to be the case, as he has selected a new ambassador.

President-elect Donald Trump announced Wednesday that he was nominating South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley as the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, calling her a “proven dealmaker” who knows how to bring people together.
The Republican governor was an outspoken critic of Mr. Trump during the presidential campaign and one of many former foes the president-elect has reached out to during the transition process.
Governor Haley is known for many of her conservative stands and bringing big business to her state. Haley has also fought back against big labor. And there seems nothing but confirmation from Congress stopping this from happening.
The Times continues:
“Our country faces enormous challenges here at home and internationally, and I am honored that the President-elect has asked me to join his team and serve the country we love as the next Ambassador to the United Nations,” Mrs. Haley said in a statement.
Trump has now taken one of his toughest critics and placed her on his team.
