The most interesting thing about all the Democrat candidates running for president today is their ideas that they want us to believe that will remedy the problems facing the nation. The only problem is since many of them are career politicians, having been in office for decades, why haven’t they already fixed these problems?

Let’s have a look at some of the top Democrat contenders for president in 2020 who have had more than a decade in office.

Bernie Sanders has been in Congress since 1990.

Elizabeth Warren has been in the Senate since 2013.

Cory Booker began his political career as Mayor of Newark, NJ in 2006 and has been in the Senate since 2013.

Amy Klobuchar has been in the Senate since 2006.

Kamala Harris essentially began her political career as California Attorney General in 2010 and won her Senate seat in 2016.

Robert O’Rourke has been in Congress since 2013.

Joe Biden has been in the Senate since 1972 and Vice President from 2008 to 2017.

These candidates have had multi terms in office and or have held a public position for decades and yet, they want the American people to believe they would take care of our problems once they become president.

Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden are the leading career political dinosaurs in the mix with Biden having spent 8 years as vice president on top of decades as a US Senator.

The point is that we have seen nothing constructive benefiting the American people, in particular, or the country, in general, from them and their colleagues, including many Republicans during their time in office. As presidential candidates, not a single one has a political platform they are running on and instead, use sensationalized politics to woo voters such as free college tuition, forgiving student debt, and the old worn out threat of doom to humanity if climate change is not addressed. Of course, we all know nothing is free and higher taxes will pay for every proposed freebie.

The Democrats in both the House and Senate have done absolutely nothing remotely related to their jobs since Donald Trump began running for President, spending their time trying to keep him from getting re-elected rather than solving any issues. They have busied themselves trying every dirty trick in the book to get him removed.

In the meantime, not one constructive piece of legislation has been put forth by the Democrats in Congress and what they have voted on has all been so insane that they knew it would never make it past the Senate, much less make it to the president’s desk for an ultimate rejection.

The bottom line is this:  not a single Democrat running for president deserves the position based on their long records of doing nothing while drawing a paycheck on our dime.
