SCHUMER: “President Biden’s rescue plan — President Biden’s rescue plan, which I have here, is very, very good for New York. We expect that more than $50 billion will come to New York as a result of this plan; money for our businesses, money for our unemployed workers, money for mass transit, money for feeding people, money for keeping people in their homes, and something greatly missing in the last plan was direct aid to our state and local governments $350 billion direct aid and then there will be aid coming in other ways, through education, mass transit, broadband. So this is a very, very good plan for New York. We need help maybe more than any other state.”
