Documents Reveal Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno Was “Not Recommended” To Be Hired At Previous Sheriff’s Office

In an update in ongoing document recovery under the Florida Sunshine Laws, it is crystal clear that someone at Collier County Sheriff’s Office must have stepped in and pulled something in order to get Carmine Marceno, the current sheriff of Lee County and documented fraudulent police officer and liar about his education, a job at the sheriff’s office.

According to documents provided to The Washington Standard, an eight-page report that Marceno not only was inconsistent and apparently lied on his application to the sheriff’s office, but the things he was not truthful are pretty important things for a person seeking a job in law enforcement.

For instance, Marceno failed to list all of his past employment history, as well as several controlled substances uses such as steroids.

This is problematic as the application he filled out is notarized and carries a penalty for not being truthful, commonly referred to as perjury.

What’s interesting is that after a background check was performed on Marceno, the status for his hiring was listed as “not recommended,” meaning that whoever was performing the background check believed he was not worthy of being hired.  My guess is that it is due to his dishonesty concerning very important issues.  Furthermore, that dishonesty would also be a crime under Florida law.  So, you have a person applying to be in law enforcement whose first step towards gaining employment was to commit a crime.

Take a look at the documents.

Next, you can compare the background check with his application both at Collier County Sheriff’s Office and Lee County Sheriff’s Office, where once again, he engaged in perjury.

Additionally, I have always believed that CM Productions, which Marceno lists on his application was either a fake job or it is tied to the porn industry, though I have been unable to prove that up to this point.  However, despite the fact that I despise the government’s thought that it is entitled to the fruits of our labor through taxation, and understanding that Marceno claimed to have been in sales, I sought to discover whether CM Productions had ever been registered with the State of New York.  To date, I have been unable to find any business registered by that name at the address provided by Marceno.

I have found other CM Productions that are reputable businesses and one that is clearly a high profile pornographic business, but not at the address provided, which Google Earth shows is simply some sort of duplex.

A source told me that Marceno had confided that there was a period of time in which he did not work and lived with his father.  It’s possible that the time frame listed is that time period, but the greater concern is that he lied about it.

It’s worse than that.

Marceno claims to have made $600 per week working for his father at CM Productions between 1992 and 1998, but notice his FICA earning statement show the following for those years.

1992 – 11919.50

1993 – 14378.99

1994 – 988.07

1995 – .00

1996 – .00

1997 – .00

1998 – 7194.50

Does it strike anyone else as a bit strange that the amounts don’t reflect what he said he was earning?  Especially, three years in which he didn’t show any amount?

Additionally, the background report indicates at least four employers that he failed to reference on his applications.

Carmine Marceno is not what the people of Lee County think he is.  He is a fraud A-Z and I say that not as a political attack because I don’t have a dog in the fight down there.  I say it because every piece of documentation available and everything he has portrayed himself to be is a fraud and a lie.  The man is a common criminal and a felon, according to Florida state law.  It’s time he was not just removed, but dealt with to pay for his crimes which have cost at least one child to lose their life, as well as one woman to continue to suffer at the hands of her oppressors.

Someone stepped in and overrode the recommendation that Marceno not be hired.  The question is who?  Was it the sheriff at the time, or was it more than likely the next man in line, Kevin Rambosck?
